People are still concerned about fluoridated water for preventing tooth decay, even if there have been 60 years of studies and evidence. There are some myths, such that it is not natural, however, fluoride is resent in rocks that are in contact with groundwater, so you might find fluoridated water in natural springs. It is also said that it does not stop tooth decay, but studies in the 1940s have shown that it is very effective for healthy teeth.
