There are incorrect, but widespread ideas about dental health. For example, cleaning the teeth professionally once a year, or the requirement of wisdom tooth removal, when really these depend on the dentist’s recommendation. Also, changing the toothbrush once every three months, when it depends on the wear of the bristles.
